GeNienne Samuels, PMP

CEO & President

GeNienne Samuels is a BPR (Business Process Reengineering), quality and process improvement consultant and holds the distinguished credential of being a Project Management Professional (PMP).  She is an enthusiastic, dedicated, and results-focused PMP with a career history of proven expertise in strategic planning, process/system improvement, organizational assessment and life cycle project management.  She directs projects resulting in effective and efficient work systems utilization necessary in improving productivity, reducing costs, and achieving overall corporate goals. 

 

GeNienne continuously employs strategic thinking, innovative problem-solving, and team leadership to deliver exceptional results. Her knowledge of various best-in-class improvement methodologies such as ISO 9001:2000, TL 9000, Strategic Planning, Baldrige Criteria for Performance Excellence, Organizational Profile Assessments, Value Stream Mapping, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), Balanced Scorecard, Six Sigma, and Benchmarking, enables her to meet diverse client demands and needs. In addition, she demonstrates strong interpersonal and communication skills, along with the ability to build good rapport with clients and teams.

 

In alliance to her passion for everything quality related, GeNienne is currently a member of the Board of Examiners for the Baldrige Performance Excellence Program, where she works with other Examiners to judge/score national application submissions for the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award.  Prior to volunteering her time on the national level, GeNienne started as an Examiner in the state of Maryland.  She is currently on the Leadership Team for the Maryland Performance Excellence Foundation (MPEF).  Before accepting the position on the MPEF Leadership Team, she served in various roles as an Examiner for the Maryland Performance Excellance Awards (MPEA) including Team Mentor, Team Leader, Back-up Team Leader, and Scorebook Editor beginning in 2004.

 

Prior to venturing out on her own, GeNienne started her business career at Verizon Communications, where she worked for 10 years as an internal consultant.  She assisted lines of business (LOB) improve internal operations, work efficiently, and exceed customer expectations.

 

GeNienne is also an avid supporter of the United States military.  She toured overseas to more than a dozen countries for handshake tours and variety show performances on behalf of USO, DOD and AFE. She has visited military bases and installation in Afghanistan, Qatar, Bosnia, Kosovo, Italy, Spain, Greece, Japan, Turkey, Guam, Kwajalein, and Micronesia.  Currently GeNienne is also the Host for Operation Rising Star, a military singing competition that allows active duty service members and their families to compete to "show off" their talents. 

 

In addition to being the CEO and President of GSCC, GeNienne is also the Co-Founder and President of Sideline Prep, an NFL and NBA dance/cheer consulting company that provides individualized consulting to young woman auditioning for professional and semi-professional dance and cheerleading teams.  She, along with her team of coaches, provide public speaking, image, personal appearance, dance, and fitness instructions to their clients.

Yes! Quality does take time; however, we encourage our clients to take the steps necessary to create sound strategies, build methodical systems, improve internal processes, and strive for excellence.
